NXT’s episode from last week was on the brink of surpassing its prearranged extra time allowance.
According to a report by Fightful Select, the added expansion time of the show almost caused it to be cancelled by the USA Network, finishing barely in time to prevent such an incident.
The episode that aired a week earlier was the last one to be shown on USA Network; the show is set to make its debut on The CW this week.
Moreover, CM Punk pre-recorded his segments for last week’s show the previous week, and he wasn’t present on the taping that occurred on the 24th of September.
