Pwinsider recently revealed some insider details from the WWE SmackDown event that took place at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York.
It was indicated by digital signage at the venue that every ticket had been sold, leaving no empty seats. Throughout the event, every suite was occupied, boasting a crowd of over 11,000 attendees.
Following the filming for the upcoming episode of SmackDown, Universal Champion Cody Rhodes, undisputed in his title, engaged with the New York audience, sincerely thanking them for their unwavering support during both tapings. He also made the day of one lucky fan by giving them a Cody weight belt with his autograph.
An interesting tidbit is that a TV segment featuring LA Knight and Nick Aldis was not broadcast live to the people present at the venue.
Prior to the start of the in-person broadcast, the WWE unveiled a video where Ben Brown, an archivist, showcased various SmackDown related collectibles.
A surprising guest that night was actor, singer, and songwriter Lin-Manuel Miranda, who was spotted right in the front row, ringside.
