Backstage Note On The Reception To WWE Moving Premium Live Events To Saturday

Last year, WWE began moving its pay-per-views and premium live events to Saturday, when these special monthly events were usually held on Sunday for the majority of the company’s history.
Fightful Select reports that WWE sources indicated that the reception to moving pay-per-view events to Saturday nights has been positive.
WWE WrestleMania 39 will be held over two nights on Saturday, April 1, and Sunday, April 2. WWE has also announced that Backlash 2023 will be held on Saturday, May 6.
In comparison, AEW has been running their pay-per-view events on Sunday nights except during football season.
