The July 15th episode of AEW Collision featured a 2-out-of-3 Falls match between FTR and Bullet Club Gold for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, which Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler won.

The match lasted almost an hour despite the lack of planning beforehand.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that very little of the bout was planned out before it took place due to several backstage complications.

Juice Robinson didn’t reach the venue until 2 PM local time due to travel issues and delays, something other wrestlers also had issues with on the Canadian tour.

In addition, FTR had content to film which kept them busy. The duo attempted to get the match moved back because it had a 6 PM local time start.

The wrestlers involved felt they weren’t prepared to do a lengthy match before the bout took place, but they ended up doing so anyway.
