Backstage Note On Mark Briscoe’s Knee Injury, Samoa Joe News, More

In an update on Mark Briscoe’s reported knee injury, there will have to be “major changes” made to ROH creative plans for the foreseeable future.

According to a report from Pwinsider, Briscoe was going to be ‘heavily featured’ as one of the top stars of the brand in the coming months.

A replacement for Mark Briscoe will be announced after Wednesday’s Blood and Guts episode of AEW Dynamite.

In other Ring of Honor news, Samoa Joe’s next challenger for the TV title will be announced on next week’s episode of ROH TV. The winner of a match between Dalton Castle and Shane Taylor will go on to face Joe.

ROH ‘Death Before Dishonor’ will be taking place on July 21st at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ.
