Backstage Note On Liv Morgan’s Return To WWE, SmackDown News, MITB

As seen on this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Liv Morgan made her return after being out of action since last month due to a shoulder injury. She will be teaming up with Raquel Gonzalez to face off against Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at next week’s WWE Money in the Bank 2023 pay-per-view event. According to a report from Fightful Select, there were multiple people in WWE who feared she’d miss the entire summer. Obviously, the injury wasn’t as serious as originally thought.

Omos, Tamina, Pretty Deadly, Rick Boogs & Lacey Evans will all be traveling to London, England to do media appearances. As of this writing, none of them are booked on the actual pay-per-view event.

This week’s episode of SmackDown in Lafayette, Louisiana was the highest-grossing event in WWE history for the city.

Next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown will be taped a few hours ahead of when it airs. This is due to the time difference in London, England.
