Reports from Pwinsider suggest that the previous Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite witnessed considerable disruptions in talent attendance due to a blizzard in Omaha. Many AEW performers faced difficulties during their journeys.
Several of the wrestlers had to adapt their travel schedules in order to get to the venue by Tuesday. Those who remained inflexible, intending to fly in on the day of the event and not altering their arrangements, didn’t make their appearances for AEW Dynamite.
In the face of these adverse weather conditions, an array of individuals, both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes, flew into alternate cities and then undertook lengthy road journeys to reach the venue.
One participant, Mercedes Mone, did whatever it took, or as she put it, “moved heaven and Earth”, just to be at the show. According to reports, post-show commutes were also challenging.
On another note, Jeff Jarrett, who has not been seen on television for some time, was noticed backstage at the AEW Dynamite event in Omaha.
Lastly, AEW fans in Detroit can look forward to consecutive shows taking place on May 7-8 at the Masonic Temple Theater.
