As we previously reported here on eWn, The Elite’s Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Hangman Page have each signed new multi-year deals with AEW.
It is believed that the deals are for at least four years, which would keep The Elite in AEW until 2027.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that The Elite made the decision to stay with a majority vote. The four stars agreed to stick together and while opinions and votes changed during negotiations, they eventually made the decision to continue in AEW.
AEW’s schedule was said to be the vital factor for the decision, as noted by Matt Jackson said in a recent yesterday.
The deals were reportedly signed weeks ago, with AEW President Tony Khan asking them to remain silent so it could be announced on the 200th episode of Dynamite.
