WWE has been running an angle on NXT TV where Roxanne Perez “collapsed” following a title match two weeks ago. The show came to an end with Perez being stretchered out of the arena.
On this week’s show, Shawn Michaels revealed that there will be a tournament to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion at Stand and Deliver.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Perez is not injured and is doing fine. With that being said, Dave Meltzer is reporting that WWE officials are hopeful that whatever she is dealing with isn’t serious. For now, WWE has to be vague about it until they are completely sure what’s going on.
