Following a surprise defeat to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, Cody Rhodes disappeared from WWE television, but recent chatter indicates his hiatus may soon be ending.
In the recent WrestleVotes Q&A, it was hinted that Rhodes could be back for the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 pay-per-view event, which is scheduled for June 7 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The update suggests,
“I do believe he’s still scheduled to be a part of the Money in the Bank show. I don’t know if he’s wrestling or if that’s when his return will take place, but as far as I know, he’ll be in Los Angeles for that PLE.”
Aiding in building up this rumor, local promotions to align with the May 16 edition of SmackDown include appearances by Rhodes. Although, WWE still hasn’t made any official announcement. Taking Rhodes’ history into account, where his advertised appearances were cancelled during his break, the exact details about his return are shrouded in mystery.
Earlier, we mentioned on eWn that the possibility of a match with Cody Rhodes & Bad Bunny against John Cena & Travis Scott at WWE Money in the Bank 2025 is being discussed.
