During the latest WWE RAW episode, viewers witnessed an unexpected statement from Carlito which stirred up controversy.
In a segment where he was seen conversing with Adam Pearce backstage, Carlito bizarrely mentioned, “I gotta learn Chinese”, moments after IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, both of whom are Japanese, exited the frame.
According to insider reports from Fightful Select, this comment was not part of the script, leaving many people backstage astounded. Further aggravating the situation, IYO SKY has experienced instances where fans have publicly told her, “Go back to China,” during live events.
It has been observed that this particular line from Carlito has been excised from all WWE’s digital and social clips relating to the segment. Though there was significant displeasure in WWE regarding the remark, there is no disclosure yet about any disciplinary measures that have been, or would be, taken against Carlito.
