Following the news of Becky Lynch vacating the RAW Women’s Title on Monday’s episode of RAW, some backstage news has surfaced regarding her announcement.
After winning the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Sunday, Asuka was awarded the title during the opening segment of Monday Night RAW, which is where Lynch made the announcement that she was pregnant with her first child.
Pwinsider.com reported that the announcement was kept under wraps as it was noted that many people who were at the taping didn’t know she was pregnant until the segment was done.
Also, Asuka was not aware that she would be getting the title at the time of taping the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match last month.
