Backstage AEW News On QT Marshall, Red Velvet, Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch Title

QT Marshall is expected to receive an AEW push following his recent Latin American Championship victory in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, Pwinsider reports.

In addition, AEW has no plans for Jeff Jarrett to defend his newly won Texas Chainsaw Massacre Deathmatch Title or to make it a regularly defended title.

Red Velvet, who hasn’t appeared on AEW television for several months, was reportedly backstage last week. However, Velvet wasn’t backstage for the August 22nd TV tapings of Dynamite and Collision.

Velvet last competed on Dynamite in early February, losing a TBS Title match against then-champion Jade Cargill.
