During Saturday’s WWE WrestleMania 40 (Night One) pay-per-view event, Awesome Truth (The Miz and R-Truth) and A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and Damian Priest) (c), #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods), and New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate) to win the RAW and SmackDown Tag Team Championships respectively.

The chaotic Six-Pack Ladder Match saw Theory and Waller win the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, stopping #DIY and Awesome Truth from obtaining a pair each.

Towards the end of the match, R-Truth attempted to get the RAW Tag Team Titles but was stopped by The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh.

However, The New Day sent McDonagh flying to the outside through a table. R-Truth threw Damian Priest out of the ring and secured the belts for his team.

The outcome not only ended The Judgment Day’s reign as Undisputed Tag Team Champions but also caused the tag team titles to be split once again.
