During a visit to “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, Aubrey Edwards, a referee with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), shared her vivid memory of the time she was hit by a guitar by Karen Jarrett.
Aubrey recalled, “Taking a guitar from Karen Jarrett at AEW Double or Nothing a few years ago was far from enjoyable. Unless you’ve gone through this yourself, you’d have no idea, but extracting splinters from hair extensions is an experience far from pleasant. My head was aching so much that I was unable to officiate the following Dynamite event. It made me anxious. Astonishingly, this situation escalated into a full-blown match, which I managed to win, thereby retiring undefeated. I think the only other individual to achieve that feat is Sting, so I guess I’m in great company.”
Subsequently, Alan Angels made a post on his social media revealing that he has sustained an injury which forced him to skip the recent Prestige Wrestling event. Specifically, he stated that he is dealing with an ACL issue but anticipates bouncing back after a couple of weeks of rest.
Despite his injury, Angels is slated to make an appearance at Prestige’s upcoming event, Roseland X, taking place on January 11. A visual snippet of the event is available for viewing below.
Additionally, it has been announced that Averno is set to compete at the MLW Kings of Colosseum event. This event is scheduled to take place on January 11 in Dallas, Texas.
