Athena Welcomes Possibility Of Becoming A Double Champion At AEW All In

Although Athena has been the face of the Ring Of Honor since becoming the Women’s World Champion, she isn’t ruling out holding AEW gold.

She made her most recent title defense at Ring Of Honor Death Before Dishonor, where she retained over Willow Nightingale.

Athena has she has her sights set on breaking Kris Statlander’s TBS Championship at All In next month.

“That’s a match that I’ve wanted for a while,” Athena said in an interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo on Ten Count. “Even watching from home before I got signed to AEW/ROH, Statlander is that woman. She’s more than a woman. Someone that was my sister from another mister when I first got here. I love Kris Statlander, and I would love to break her face and steal her TBS Championship.”
