In what can only be described as a challenging evening for Chase University, Andre Chase and Ridge Holland suffered defeat during WWE NXT No Mercy in 2024. Their loss of the NXT Tag Team Championship titles came at the hands of The Supersonic Duo, made up of Axiom and Nathan Frazer. This defeat happened during the initial bout of the event.
Andre Chase found himself beneath Nathan Frazer when Axiom deployed a Spanish Fly maneuver. This was swiftly followed by Frazer’s impressive Phoenix Splash, securing their victory. The victory saw The Supersonic Duo reclaiming the titles they had lost to Chase U only nineteen days prior during the August 13th episode of NXT.
However, the unfortunate events didn’t end there for Chase University. Immediately after the title change, Ridge Holland, not being able to handle the defeat, lashed out at his teammates. He attacked Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, and Riley Osborne, making a heel turn. This move was somewhat expected, as the possibility of Hill snapping had been speculated about for months.
