Janel Grant has consented to postpone her legal action against Vince McMahon and WWE, following a request from the United States Department of Justice.

Initiated in January this year, the lawsuit accuses McMahon and others of trafficking and sexual misconduct while Grant was associated with WWE.

Representing Grant legally, Ann Callis issued the following statement,

“Ms. Grant has agreed to a plea from the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York to put her case against Mr. McMahon, WWE and Mr. Laurinaitis on hold, in reference to an ongoing confidential investigation. We are prepared to cooperate with any subsequent proper procedures.”

Contrary to the allegations, Vince McMahon has consistently maintained his innocence, affirming that his relation with Grant was entirely of mutual consent.

McMahon, along with WWE and John Laurinaitis, are collectively trying to induce arbitration, suggesting they wish to reach a resolution before the case goes to trial.
