In a personal request, Bryan Danielson invited Jim Ross to serve as the announcer for his AEW World Championship match at the 2024 All In event.
In a recent discussion with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Danielson disclosed his wish for Ross to narrate his clash with Swerve Strickland at this UK pay-per-view extravaganza. He explained,
“I wanted Jim [Ross] involved in the match. He was the one who signed me to my initial wrestling pact back in 2000. Having him take part in the commentary was important to me. Jim’s expertise is still top-notch. He has been struggling with some health problems, and I understand flying to London may not have been easy, but his presence meant so much.”
Expanding further, he said, “I’ve fostered a deep bond with Tony Schiavone which made it all the more special that both of them were able to announce the match.”
