Mercedes Mone, the TBS Champion, emerged victorious against Stephanie Vaquer, seizing the NJPW Robust Women’s Championship at the grand 2024 event of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
Notably, despite the call for celebration post this win, there were additional plans for a grand pre-match celebration that unfortunately didn’t see the light of day. These plans were disclosed by Mone’s advocate and producer, Keven Undergaro.
In a recent episode of the “Heal Squad” podcast, Undergaro, the mastermind behind Mone’s AEW theme, commented, “We were supposed to have a big entrance. I didn’t manage it, so it didn’t happen”.
