Asuka Discusses Becky Lynch’s Pregnancy Announcement, Message To Women’s Division

Newly crowned WWE RAW Women’s Champion Asuka made an appearance on today’s episode of WWE’s The Bump where she spoke about a wide range of topics. Here are the highlights:
On jumping off the balcony during Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match:
“I was so determined. I danced on the balcony and made others what I was doing, and right at that moment, I made a dive. Then I saw Shayna coming to get me but right at that second, the elevator doors opened and I made it inside. I’m a genius.”
What her emotions were at the end of the match:
“I climbed up the ladder then King Corbin came too so I gave him a nice kick. The briefcase was so heavy that I had a hard time even holding it but I was so happy. The view that I saw from the top of the ladder was fantastic. I am going to remember that view.”
Becky Lynch’s pregnancy announcement:
“Mother…I am so happy. I had so many matches with her and I have a strong connection with her. I think we both felt the same way. I think she likes to have matches with me. I think she was relieved that I got the Money in the Bank because she knew I could take good care of it.”
Message to WWE women’s division:
“I want to become the element that makes people feel the WWE’s women’s division is something they don’t want to miss. I know that I’ve been that element but as a champion, I want to work on it even harder.”
