During a recent episode of his podcast, “The ARN Show”, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson expressed his dislike for lumberjack matches and discussed other topics.
Here are some noteworthy moments from his podcast:
Speaking on his feelings toward the lumberjack match, Anderson said, “I’m not especially a fan of it. It becomes problematic when the focus shifts too much to the individuals outside the ring, whose only task is to ensure the contestant is back in the ring. However, some get carried away, wanting to progress to the next level by throwing in a kick or a punch. It then morphs into a different situation. To be honest, I’ve never been one that thought highly of such scenarios.”
When discussing former wrestler Johnny B Badd, Anderson’s admiration was obvious. He stated, “This man was the epitome of a million-dollar look. He had a golden tan, a handsome face, a commendable physique…the moment he entered a room, everyone would be thinking ‘Here comes a star.’ ”
Anderson’s podcast covers a wide range of wrestling-related topics, from match formats to his thoughts on former and current wrestlers.
