Ariane Andrew Reveals Her Status With AEW, Didn’t Tell Naomi Of Her Debut Beforehand
Is it “girl, hi” or “girl, bye” with Ariane Andrew and All Elite Wrestling? The former Funkadactyl happened to make her status clear on her YouTube show “Sippin’ The Tea” as she played host to her fellow Funkadactyl Naomi on what happened to be her 100th episode.
Andrew tried to go the professional route with her co-host Matt Dillon and keep the focus on her longtime friend by asking about Naomi’s quarantine life, but the gal with all the “glow” was having none of it.
“I know we’re supposed to be talking about me, but are we just going to ignore the fact that you debuted on AEW?” Naomi asked. “Girl! I was like, ‘Oh my God, my sister’s back! Yeahhhh!'”
“So since we are spilling tea, I’m gonna keep it 1000% so everyone can hear it right here, right now: I am not with AEW. That was just a little something something,” Ariane stated.
“It’s not official so there’s still a door. Hello, Vince! Is you listening?” Naomi added.
“Well, either way, I’m just super happy and excited because I do know the love and the passion you do have for wrestling so whether it’s in AEW or WWE I know it’s something you wanted to get back to, something that you wasn’t done with and I’m just glad to see you still pushing and fighting and still in the game,” Naomi said. “It was a good surprise. It was a shocker, but a good one.”
“I wanted to tell you, but then I was like, no one knew. No one knew that it was happening so I was like I’m just gonna keep it a secret,” Ariane said.
