Apollo Crews Ruins Shinsuke Nakamura’s IC Title Aspirations

Apollo Crews has been trying to dethrone Big E as WWE Intercontinental Champion for some time now, and during tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, he ruined Shinsuke Nakamura’s chances at becoming a champion.
In a match against Big E, Nakamura looked promising against the champion, but things quickly went south. After getting dropped by Big E, Nakamura almost looked ready to be the victim of a Big Ending. However, Crews came running into the ring and dropped Big E with a dropkick, quickly running out of the ring as the referee was forced to signal for the match to be called due to disqualification.
While it didn’t look like Nakamura had much of a chance of winning late, Crews’ interruption was still something that made Big E angry, and he was not happy at all about the hit he took.
