Professional wrestler Anthony Henry has disclosed that his absence from the ring will be extended due to an additional surgery on his arm. The wrestler, known in the AEW/ROH community, made the announcement on Monday via Twitter, stating that a second operation is required to address problems with his torn bicep. He reassured fans that his recovery will be prompt.

In his tweet, he said, “Regrettably, I’m due for a second surgery. Since the first one, I haven’t been able to rotate my arm. New bone growth in the area is constraining the joint’s normal movement. My surgery date is 3/13. Thankfully, the recovery period will be short, so I’ll be back before you know it.”

Henry has been off the wrestling circuit since October.

Reports from Pwinsider reveal that the victim involved in a case against Thomas Wansaw, known in the wrestling community as Boulder of The Iron Savages, requested that charges against Wansaw for battery by strangulation be dropped. Wansaw, who was arrested on January 13 in Florida, was quietly dismissed from AEW following his arrest.

The victim’s statement, signed on January 15 and submitted to the court on February 28, read: “Through this document, I intend to inform the State Attorney’s Office in Orange County, Florida, that I no longer wish the case to be pursued and request that the charges be dismissed.”

Finally, Nic Nemeth, former TNA World Champion, gave a positive critique of the ongoing feud between MJF and Adam Page in AEW, particularly emphasizing the impactful segment where MJF had his AEW tattoo removed.

Speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Nemeth shared, “MJF’s symbolic tattoo removal signifies his severance from this place, and solidarity for himself. I admire how both Hangman and MJF organically established their roles against each other. And it’s true – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

He added, “Their straightforward seriousness is refreshing, and I’m excited to see these two face off in the ring.”
