WWE may be bringing in several wrestlers who haven’t been on television in recent memory for WrestleMania 39 weekend.

As previously reported, Randy Orton, who has been away since May after undergoing back fusion surgery, will be in town for the show.

Pwinsider Elite reports AJ Styles, who has disappeared from television, maybe in town as well.

“There was an assumption among some in the company that Styles would at least be in Los Angeles for Wrestlemania weekend, but we haven’t been able to independently confirm that,” Mike Johnson wrote.

Dave Meltzer talked about in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter how there are many performers who aren’t involved in weekly TV who might be brought in town for the show.

“There are a number of wrestlers who have been off television for injury and other reasons who could return for appearances in some form and get easy pops, including Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, A.J. Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and Big E. Orton is confirmed as going to be there and before the injury to Kofi Kingston, which did results in ankle surgery on 3/17, we had at least heard talk of the Big E return if only in skit form with the New Day together,” Meltzer wrote.
