“WWE Launches Ninth Annual Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month Campaign

At WWE Payback, WWE kicked off its Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month campaign led by WWE Superstars Cody Rhodes and Bianca Belair. Helping to uplift patients and their families during treatment, ahead of the WrestleMania 40 on-sale last month, Cody and Bianca visited the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Along with several other WWE Superstars, the pair will visit hospitals around the country throughout the month of September.

As in years past, the WWE Universe will have the opportunity to purchase Connor’s Cure merchandise at WWEShop.com with 100% of WWE net proceeds benefiting pediatric cancer research. Through Fanatics, WWE will also be auctioning off a signed Cody Rhodes’ robe (beginning 9/2) and a custom WWE title signed by Cody and Bianca (beginning 9/18).

This September, use your passions and talents to design your own fundraiser to benefit Connor’s Cure, a WWE initiative benefiting the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

The top four fundraisers will receive the opportunity for an exclusive pre-show meet-and-greet with Cody Rhodes* or Bianca Belair* and tickets to a WWE show in a market of your choice.

Each fundraiser will be allotted the chance for 4 people max to take part in the meet-and-greet. Travel expenses and accommodations not included. Excludes the following Premium Live Events: Royal Rumble, Money In The Bank, WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series. All winners must redeem their meet and greet by September 1, 2024. More information can be found here.

Over the years, WWE has raised awareness and much-needed funding for cutting-edge pediatric cancer research. In 2014, WWE founded Connor’s Cure after 8-year-old WWE fan Connor “The Crusher” Michalek lost his battle to cancer. Through a partnership between WWE and the V Foundation, to date, Connor’s Cure has raised more than $4.5 million to fund research grants and provide family assistance.”
