Andrew Schulz Returning To WWE?, Triple H Says The Internet Isn’t Real

In a recent interactive session with Andrew Schulz on his podcast Flagrant, Triple H (Paul Levesque) opened up about his views on the internet and the criticism that often shows up there. He remarked,

“The internet does not equate to real life. The grumbles and protests prevalent on the web do not mirror the truth. Internet’s interpretation can often be misleading. An apt illustration of this would be Cody. Claims such as ‘Cody’s career is sinking. He’s not benefiting as a babyface’ are completely false. The truth is a stark contrast, with Cody being cheered on by thousands in the arena every night and selling the most merchandise. So although the internet has its perceptions, we have the luxury of a live focus group (audience) to help us gauge what’s working and what’s not, irrespective of online’s verdict.”

On the March 10 episode of WWE Monday Night RAW episode streamed on Netflix, live from Madison Square Garden, the unexpected happened. Comedian Andrew Schulz, while sitting by the ring, was pulled into the ring by Logan Paul. Just as Paul was about to deliver a suplex on Schulz, professional wrestler AJ Styles came to the rescue, foreshadowing their confrontation at WrestleMania.

In a later episode of Flagrant, Schulz invited the WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque. During the conversation, Schulz revisited the surprise incident and asked why his seat was coincidentally relocated to where Logan Paul could spot him. Triple H explained that it’s commonplace for them to accommodate requests from their stars, like Logan Paul, who wanted to playfully interact with a friend or fan.

“When Logan asked where you were sitting and requested that we move you closer to the camera, of course, we made it happen. I didn’t suspect you would have an issue with it, especially knowing you both are friends. It was all fun and games,” Triple H stated.

Schulz retorted that he had no intention of participating in any promotional activity or endorsing Logan’s shenanigans. He jokingly added that it was prudent of AJ Styles to intervene, or else he might have had to step in. Triple H then admitted that he was unaware of Logan’s plan to drag Schulz into the ring but added, “Having a celebrity like you in the front row stirring things up isn’t necessarily bad for us.”

Schulz then emphatically stated, “Well, rest assured, it won’t happen again.”

Triple H chuckled at Schulz’s assertion and invited him to the next show at the Garden, intriguingly suggesting that Schulz might seek payback against Logan. “We’d be thrilled to see you at our next Garden event… and if something untoward were to befall Logan—well, who’s to say?”

Quick with his wit as always, Schulz replied, “Let’s just say that I know how to enter undetected. Hence, it would be wise to situate me in a suite next time. If, however, I find myself at ringside again — all bets are off.”

Though Triple H made attempts to allure Schulz into attending WrestleMania 41, the comedian coyly replied, “I’ve got my hands full currently. Can’t make it.” When Triple H remarked that Schulz was sounding like someone who would probably show up, Schulz remarked with a smirk, “Well, I just might be there.”
