Andrade Pins Angel Garza, Earns US Title Match At WWE Backlash

This week on WWE RAW, WWE United States Champion Apollo Crews said he’s excited about his match at WWE Backlash, where he’ll face the winner of a triple threat match between Andrade, Angel Garza and Kevin Owens. While Andrade and Garza made their way to the ring, Owens attacked both men.

Garza and Andrade teamed up on Owens, but they also argued because only one of them could won the match. Both men grounded Owens and squashed a potential rally. Garza and Andrade firmly controlled the match. They suplexed Owens, ad Andrade went for the pin. Garza and Andrade came to blows and fought outside the ring. Zelina Vega tried to separate them and she was accidentally knocked down in the struggle. The disagreement between the two men allowed Owens to gain some momentum. He hit Garza with a senton for a two count. Owens hit Andrade with a Frog Splash for a two count. Andrade rocked Owens with a spinning back elbow for a two count.

Garza and Andrade exchanged blows, and a clothesline to the outside sent both men tumbling. Owens dove onto both men outside the ring. Garza attacked Owens’ knee, but Owens dropped him with a Stunner. But Andrade stole the pin to win the match.
