A forthcoming collaboration in media rights between All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Warner Bros. Discovery is reported to be in its conclusive stages.
Earlier this week, we at eWrestling news conveyed that Warner Bros. Discovery had expressed a renewed proposition to AEW. This offer seemed to be favourable for both parties involved. The collaboration is anticipated to be valued at twice the worth of their current contract.
Andrew Zarian, a personality from the Mat Men Podcast, posted an announcement on Twitter last Friday. He stated that this deal is in the final phase.
He tweeted, “Warner Bros. Discovery representatives firmly believe an agreement featuring a substantial rise in value is in the works. Planning for AEW content roll-out on Warner Bros. Discovery in 2025 is also progressively shaping up.”
At the time of penning down this information, we have no established timeline for when this collaboration will be publically declared. As a matter of fact, it’s important to indicate that AEW All In: London 2024 is happening this Sunday.
Zarian’s tweet read, “Warner Bros. Discovery sources have expressed continuous confidence that a contract is being formulated, set to feature a significant boost. Arrangements for broadcasting AEW content on Warner Bros. Discovery in 2025 are underway.”
