An Eventful KO Show Leads To NA Championship Triple Threat Match At WarGames
With Kevin Owens taking part in tonight’s NXT festivities, the WWE superstar brought his KO Show to the world of NXT, inviting WWE North American Champion Leon Ruff down to talk. In an eventful edition of the show, things eventually ended with William Regal announcing a Triple Threat match for the title at NXT WarGames.
After congratulating Ruff on his title, Owens attempted to convince the champion to be more confident, which led to Ruff inadvertantly calling out Johnny Gargano. Once Gargano came down to the ring, he incidentally called out Damian Priest, and the three superstars proceeded to talk about how things could be settled. While Priest took various shots at Gargano being unable to beat Ruff, he did note that he was never given his rematch for the belt. Owens then chimed in to remind Ruff that he did say last week that he would take on both superstars for the title.
With some goading from Owens for “NXT’s version of Tony Long” to come out and announce a match, William Regal eventually did. Coming down to the ring, Regal confirmed that a Triple Threat match would be happening at NXT WarGames, with Ruff defending his title against both Gargano and Priest.
