News has been circulating in the wrestling community that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin from the Motor City Machine Guns might be making a move to WWE following the expiration of their contracts with TNA Wrestling in March, as we’ve previously highlighted on our platform, eWn.
This speculation gained further traction after Shelley’s recent match with Alpha Zo at a composite event held by West Coast Pro Wrestling, Deadlock Pro, and Prestige in San Francisco last Saturday. He went public with an intriguing update about his future career in wrestling.
In his own words, “Spoiler alert: I might not come back here. And if I don’t, I know the future of pro wrestling is safe and sound inside a West Coast Pro ring. I’ve talked on too long and the last thing I want to say is thank you so much for the last two and a half years.”
Interestingly, Shelley had earlier dropped a hint indicating that he might have his retirement match with Beyond Wrestling this month. Thus, the wrestling community waits with bated breath for more updates.
