Post the split of Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa, there was uncertainty regarding the future name of their group, sans Gable, and also about Gable’s newly formed group with The Creed Brothers. This was even a topic for EWN’s Question of the Day!

This question was answered in the recent episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.

In the early stages of the night, Gable intervened in a discussion between Ivy Nile and Maxxine Dupri (where Nile was justifying Brutus Creed and Julius Creed’s recent heel turn behavior). Gable let go of the Alpha Academy name, informing Dupri that she, along with Otis and Tozawa, are welcome to retain the name as he has no desire for it anymore.

In a later segment while making his way to the ring for their primary six-man tag team match against The Wyatt Sicks, Gable swiftly made a statement, referring to his team as “American Made.”

Although it’s possible this could be a nickname or a phrase tailored for that specific publicity, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee confirmed on their commentary that the group would be recognized by that name moving forward.

What’s your opinion on these team names? Should Otis and his squad have been assigned a different name rather than sticking to Alpha Academy? Do you find ‘American Made’ adequate, or does it remind you of Hulk Hogan’s previous theme? Share your views in the comment section below!
