Amari Miller, who became a part of WWE in 2021, departed from the company earlier this month. Throughout her tenure with WWE, she showcased her skills on 205 Live and NXT Level Up.

In February 2023, she endured a torn ACL. However, she returned to the ring in December after a successful surgery and recovery. Her latest match occurred on a January 9th episode of WWE NXT Level Up, where she graciously elevated Jaida Parker.

Speaking to Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co, Miller talked about the departure. She said,

“It was mostly creative. They didn’t have anything for me creatively, and my contract was ending anyway, so I felt it was best for both worlds. It mostly came from their side. Not like an ‘oh, please, I’m begging.’ It was more, ‘Thank you for the opportunity, I appreciate it.’ There is nothing I felt I could have done. I worked my butt off. I was there every day. There is no bad blood on either side. It’s perfectly understandable from a business perspective of where they were coming from. I did have injuries through my path in WWE. I get why it’s, ‘Ah, she might be a liability,’ to end it all, it was nothing creatively for me, so it was time to go our separate ways. Doesn’t mean I’m not going to go back. The door is not shut. Coach was saying he always puts his name behind me if needed. It’s a very good tight relationship between me and WWE right now,” she said.

Amari Miller, a talented wrestler who joined WWE in 2021, recently announced her departure from the company. During her time with WWE, Miller showcased her skills on shows like 205 Live and NXT Level Up, leaving a lasting impression on fans and fellow wrestlers.

In February 2023, Miller suffered a torn ACL, which required surgery and a lengthy recovery period. However, she persevered and made a triumphant return to the ring in December of the same year. Her most recent match took place on a January 9th episode of WWE NXT Level Up, where she selflessly elevated Jaida Parker, demonstrating her dedication to the sport.

Miller recently spoke to Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co about her departure from WWE. She explained that it was primarily due to creative reasons. The company didn’t have any new storylines or opportunities for her, and since her contract was ending anyway, she felt it was best for both parties to part ways. Miller emphasized that it was not a situation where she was begging to stay but rather a mutual understanding and appreciation for the opportunities she had been given.

She expressed gratitude for the chance to work with WWE and mentioned that there is no bad blood between her and the company. Miller acknowledged that injuries played a role in her WWE journey, which may have contributed to the decision to end their partnership. However, she remains hopeful for the future and stated that the door is not closed on a potential return. Miller also mentioned that her coach has expressed support for her and is willing to vouch for her if needed, highlighting the positive relationship she currently has with WWE.

Miller’s departure from WWE serves as a reminder of the challenges faced by professional wrestlers in the industry. Despite her talent and hard work, creative decisions and injuries can sometimes lead to unexpected career changes. However, Miller’s positive outlook and the support she has received from WWE indicate that there is still potential for her to make a comeback in the future.

As fans, we can only hope that Miller continues to pursue her passion for wrestling and finds success in whichever path she chooses. Her determination and resilience are admirable qualities that will undoubtedly serve her well in her future endeavors.
