In a recent conversation with Denise Salcedo from Instinct Culture, Bayley expressed her enthusiasm about the upcoming WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland special event. The current WWE Women’s Champion discussed her strong support for fellow wrestler and good friend, Mercedes Mone, the AEW TBS Champion.
Bayley shared her thoughts and feelings on Mone’s progress in the sport, stating, “I am filled with excitement seeing her taking her skills to the next level. Her absence does make wrestling feel a bit unusual to me, but I appreciate the unique communication that has formed instead. I can discuss with her about what’s going on in WWE, seek advice when I need help, and share the efforts I am making to enhance things on my end. She does the same for me from AEW. It feels wonderful that we can help each other grow, even though we are in different organizations, and living our wrestling lives separately. In some aspects, it feels better this way.”
Continuing, Bayley celebrated Mone’s bold move, saying, “I am immensely proud of her for grabbing the opportunity and betting on her abilities. She has so much to contribute to the world. The future holds many more opportunities for her. I’m eagerly waiting to witness her future achievements. Although we are no longer tag team partners, I get to cheer for her as a fan now.”
