Saturday saw the 2024 WWE Clash At The Castle pay-per-view extravaganza unfold at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro in Scotland.
In the post-show media gathering, WWE’s Triple H revealed that the Clash At The Castle: Scotland event set a new milestone as it generated the highest arena gate revenue in WWE’s history, surpassing the previous high set at Backlash: France.
The official headcount for WWE Clash At The Castle: Scotland was confirmed to be 11,391, shattering the previous record established on May 4 in Lyon, France.
Of note is the fact that the initial lowest ticket price stood at a steep 9, which later on reduced to 6. This still maintains its position as the highest minimum entry price in the annals of WWE. This ultimately helps explain the substantial gate revenues. If fans maintain their willingness to pay such premium prices, these record-breaking gates are expected to continue.
