Jake Hager is facing a kayfabe penalty after knocking out a referee at All Elite Wrestling’s Fyter Fest show.

Hager has been suspended 10 days for his actions. Of course, next week’s episode of Dynamite, which is the second night of AEW Fyter Fest, has already been taped so Hager isn’t actually missing any time. He has also been fined an “undisclosed amount.” The promotion has muted replies to the tweet.

Check out the official announcement below:

AEW has suspended @RealJakeHager for 10 days and fined him an undisclosed amount for striking an official following his TNT Championship match with @CodyRhodes at Fyter Fest on #AEWDynamite pic.twitter.com/ITF7JJDIAM

Hager was angry at the referee after losing to Cody Rhodes in their TNT Championship match. Guess we’ll see “Rock Hard” in two weeks.
