All Elite Wrestling Runs ‘Paid Advertisement’ On IMPACT Wrestling

During tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, a “paid advertisement” ran from All Elite Wrestling. Hosted by AEW announcer Tony Schiavone and owner Tony Khan, the commercial said that AEW Dynamite is Wednesday’s No. 1 wrestling destination.
“Hey IMPACT Wrestling, it’s great to be here tonight via this paid ad that’s allowed me to join you,” Khan said. “I understand the brand new AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is going to be on this show tonight, so I thought I would join him. If I wanted to stop it, Tony, I absolutely could. I could file an injunction, I could tell Kenny he’s in breach of contract, but I’m not going to do that. Instead, I thought I would actually help fund this show via this ad. I think it’s going to help the budget, the bottom line and hopefully helps promote AEW to have our champion on this show.

“The only thing I don’t like about it is how Kenny won the belt. It was a joke. … Let me tell you something, Don Callis you’re welcome to come with Kenny tomorrow too. In fact, Kenny I know how you’re arriving. I handled it, I set up your arrival. We’re more than happy to accommodate you. We’re just really looking forward to seeing you, buddy.”
Khan and Schiavone then ran down tomorrow night’s AEW card for the rest of the ad with Khan saying he’s heard that IMPACT has “some tag teams” that Khan might check out himself. He then jokingly said there were rumors he might buy IMPACT and reiterated that he’s looking forward to seeing Omega tomorrow.
