All Elite Wrestling advertised Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega as an unsanctioned match at AEW Full Gear but it had issues with an actual sanctioning body.

As obtained by Christopher Cruise, it turns out that the Maryland State Athletic Commission fined the promotion over the bout. “During a match between licensed wrestlers Jonathan Good and Tyson Smith, both Mr. Good and Mr. Smith suffered lacerations which caused blood to be introduced into the ring,” the consent order reads. “Upon review of the matter, the Commission determined that administrative charges against the Respondent were appropriate for alleged violations of Maryland law pertaining to wrestling contests and related regulations.”

Due to the blood, each violator was fined $5,000 meaning AEW will have to pay $10,000 within 30 days of the consent order.
