On the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts, professional wrestler Darby Allin is set to participate in his first cage match ever. During a recent interview on the “Battleground Podcast,” Allin expressed his thrill for the match, with discussions surrounding his preparations and more.
Allin, speaking on his debut in Blood & Guts, said, “This is my first cage match ever in my career. After my comeback post Double or Nothing, I had to sit out following a severe injury to my nose. But I feel ready and eager to return. It’s exciting, having left at Double or Nothing and now to be back for Blood & Guts. I just hope I won’t need to go back to the hospital.”
On his preparation for the match, Allin outlined that his entire life has been about preparing for the unpredictable, making Blood & Guts seem like a stroll to him. “It’s great timing, and I’m faced with perfect opponents. You have the EVPs, Jack Perry, Okada, and Hangman. It’s going to be entertaining. While I’m not certain of what’s going to unfold, people who might be overlooking this match might have to reconsider soon given the surprises I have in store,” he said.
