During last Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown, a fresh face by the name of Alicia Taylor was introduced to the blue brand.
After the program, WWE uploaded an exclusive digital interview featuring Taylor. In the interview, she spoke about her recent transition to the main roster, her experiences during her tenure on the WWE NXT brand, and more.
A few key moments from the interview are outlined below:
When asked about her initial experience on SmackDown, Taylor said, “Phenomenal. I’m overjoyed to have survived my first one. [Laughs] I was unsure if it was too much caffeine, nerves, or something else, but prior to the show, I was full of energy and ready to take on the world. [Laughs]”
Reflecting on her last night wrestling on NXT, she stated, “Just the other night, during my final NXT appearance, they were attempting to make me shed tears. But hey, I’m tough—I can’t be crying. To be honest though, I did get a bit emotional. It was poignant—truly special. NXT is such a unique space—for example, those like Shawn Michaels and Triple H. I’ve always had a close relationship with them, especially Triple H. Moreover, Shawn has been instrumental in transforming NXT and ensuring its growth. It’s honestly all very special.”
