Fox has been absent from WWE television for most of the year, making her last in-ring wrestling appearance in April, and another brief backstage segment at the RAW Reunion this summer. She was reportedly involved in two separate alcohol-related incidents, one at Summerslam and another at a February house show led to Arn Anderson being fired.

WWE never commented on Fox’s status; her profile being moved to the alumni section led to speculation that she was no longer with the company. Fox recently posted about WrestleMania season and was featured on artwork for WrestleMania 36 related events, with Fox noting that this would be her 11th Mania.

According to a report by Fightful.com in March, Fox was previously given an opportunity to go to treatment but elected not to. It was also noted at the Fox was on “thin ice” several times in the past, including a reported incident with Ronda Rousey’s husband, Travis Browne, last year at Wrestlemania. Another incident cited included Fox arriving two hours late to a show in 2017 while she was said to be in line for a push.
