Alicia Atout, a noted media personality, is relishing the sense of her career coming to a complete loop as she now finds herself officially integrated into the media team of All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
Atout had officially joined the broadcasting team of AEW earlier during the year, a change which wasn’t her first involvement with the organization. She previously worked on the 2018 All In event and the 2019 AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
During a recent episode of the popular podcast “AEW Unrestricted”, Atout spent time reminiscing about her journey with AEW. Reflecting, she noted,
“I mean it’s something we were definitely discussing last year and then — as summer transitioned into early fall — we hammered out the details and finally signed the contracts.
“It’s genuinely incredible for me, to see how my journey with AEW has come full circle. Not only having been a part of the initial two events that set up the AEW brand, but to have taken part in All In and Double Or Nothing a few years back, and to now officially be a signed member? It feels incredibly surreal. Like the perfect loop.”
Atout recently found herself amidst a storm when a backstage clash occurred between her beau, MJF, and Britt Baker. The clash momentarily led to Baker’s suspension.
AEW’s HR team launched an investigation following the incident and ruled that MJF was not accountable as he was simply defending Atout. Thus, no suspension was levied against him.
