Former WWE Superstar Alexander Wolfe has claimed that NXT Superstars feared being called up and losing the bonds they had made in the gold brand.

Wolfe joined WWE as part of NXT in 2015 and would work as part of Sanity and Imperium before his release in 2021.

Speaking to “So Catch,” Wolfe explained why Superstars were apprehensive about being called up to the main roster. He said,

“A lot of people were afraid of getting a call-up. And that spread to the office. NXT, they help you with that a little bit more. You tour together … they book for you the hotels, they take care of the food.”

Since his release, the German wrestler has returned to wXw and reunited with Sanity alum Killian Dain/Big Damo in PROGRESS Wrestling last November.
