The MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone joined WrestleZone’s Dominic DeAngelo for an exclusive “Christmas / Hanukkah Gift Train Extravaganza” interview.

Hammer and DeAngelo had plenty to talk about regarding the holidays, but before that they talk about The Champ’s upcoming bout against his Dynasty brother MJF happening this Saturday on MLW Fusion. The match between the stablemates is included in the opening round of the MLW Opera Cup tournament. Hammer admits that the competition can make matters a little tense, but everyone will be happy with the outcome Alex expects to happen.

“Things are a little tense, you know, cause nobody in The Dynasty definitely wants to take a loss. Everybody wants to win The Opera Cup,” states Hammer, “but at the end of the day, we all know that we are all gunning for the same prize so I’d like to think MJF will be happy for me when I win.”

Despite the showdown on Saturday, Hammerstone knows the bond with his Dynasty brothers is stronger than the quality of MJF’s authentic Burberry scarf and considers it the best time of his wrestling career as of it.

“I mean, it’s without a doubt been the most fun thing I’ve done in my entire wrestling career. Easily the most enjoyable, the most natural and organic, like not forced anything we had to do. It’s just like an absolutely crazy thought that this time a year ago I didn’t even know those guys.”

“Those guys on-screen, off-screen you know, some of the best friends that I’ve had in this business. All the stuff with The Dynasty—I think when The Dynasty all came together there might have been this vision for what it was gonna turn into. We just kept taking so many weird left turns on our own and really redirecting into maybe not what they intended it to be, but something that I like to think to be a lot more fun.”
