Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross Retain SmackDown Women’s Tag Titles

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross continue to reign over the WWE Women’s division, as the duo once again defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships with a win on Friday Night SmackDown.
Bliss & Cross took down Carmella and Dana Brooke, who had been anticipating this matchup for weeks, but were unable to come away with a win despite having the upper hand for a brief moment.

Brooke dropkicks Cross as soon as the bell rings. Cross rolls out of the ring. Carmella surprises Bliss with a cross body off the apron. After the break, Bliss floors Carmella with a right hand. Carmella counters Cross’ neck breaker attempt. Carmella kicks Cross in the knee. Carmella charges Cross but Cross lifts Carmella up in the air. Bliss grabs Carmella’s head and hits a DDT for the win.
