Alexa Bliss says safety is the main priority and WWE is doing everything they can to make sure that happens while they host TV tapings in Florida.
Ahead of last night’s episode of WWE RAW, Bliss spoke to NDTV‘s Rohit Khilnani about her partnership with Nikki Cross. During the conversation, Bliss was asked about performer safety and she said WWE has a number of protocols in place to make sure everyone is safe and healthy during the tapings at the WWE Performance Center.
“Everyone at WWE is being super careful, super cautious and super safe. Before we go on into the Performance Center, we have to have our temperatures checked, we have to get evaluated by a doctor. We have to sign a survey that says we haven’t traveled, we haven’t gone anywhere, that we don’t have any symptoms. We’re all wearing masks, we’re practicing social distancing. Everything is being cleaned to a medical-grade standard and keeping everyone safe is the main priority right now.”
Bliss also talked about her friendship with teammate Nikki Cross; the duo retained the Women’s Tag Team Championship on last night’s show after defeating The IIconics, who ended up having a public spat after the match. “Bliss Cross Applesauce” have been champions for 45 days, winning the titles at WrestleMania 36 last month.
