Alex Shelley Reflects On NXT Debut

Alex Shelley is set to make his NXT debut this coming week, where he’ll team up with Kushida to take on the Grizzled Young Veterans in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. After wrestling for Ring of Honor in 2019, Shelley made his in-ring debut at an NXT Pittsburgh house show, where he joined Kushida in taking on and defeating The Forgotten Sons.
Taking to social media after the moment, Shelley thanked the NXT for the opportunity, and noted that wrestling for WWE and NXT has been a dream of his that finally has come true.

I’ve more to say, but wrestling for @WWE and @WWENXT specifically has been a dream of mine for awhile. I have had to do a lot of hard things in life, especially the last few years. But so have you. If a single person can draw some inspiration and strength from this? Win. Thanks.
