Over the weekend, professional wrestler Alex Shelley dropped hints on Instagram about the future of his career. In his announcement, Shelley confirmed that he and his tag-team partner, forming the wrestling duo Motor City Machine Guns, are planning to wrap up their indie wrestling dates before transitioning to the next phase in their careers, or as Shelley puts it, “onto wherever our next home will be.”
In a detailed post, Shelley said:
“Sabin (His wrestling partner) and I have made our rounds at numerous disc golf courses while on the road. Engaging in this sport has a host of advantages: soaking up some sunshine, reducing stress levels, executing global rotation (a sometimes overlooked movement pattern), and a chance to improve hand-eye coordination. Prior to @superkickd last weekend, we visited Beaches in Toronto, where we spent the night for @demandlucha to compete against @arez.strange and @iambasegod. I had a submission match with @halfbakedkid while Sabin wrestled @clutchjessiev. These experiences have been welcome as we conclude our independent wrestling tour and move on to the next stage in our career! Quick health tip: Walking and gradual cardio exercise can contribute to significant weight loss if done to an extreme. Beta oxidation occurs with these less intense, prolonged efforts. If you need personalized training or coaching, reach out to me, contact details in profile.”
