Aleister Black recently spoke with Rick Ucchino of Sportskeeda Wrestling and discussed various topics, including a potential showdown with The Fiend. Here are some highlights:

On a potential match with The Fiend:

Black: “I’m willing to fight anyone. Like, I’m not someone who backs down. I’ve never backed down of anything. I took on AJ Styles and his goons a couple months ago all at the same time because, you know, that’s what they want. I don’t care if I get beat down, I’ll get back up. I’ll find a way. I’ve always been resilient and even for someone like Bray Wyatt, who is obviously a very ominous individual, you know, I feel at times we radiate the same energy. So whether that becomes the focus, of that same energy as a cooperation or an engagement, that remains to be seen. But I’m ready for it.”

On who he wants to face:

Black: “I look at Damian Priest, and I can go, you know, I can compete with this guy. I can have matches with this guy. There’s not a singular person, other than perhaps maybe a Roman Reigns, where I would specifically target myself, other than everyone being a target.”

On feuding with Seth Rollins:

Black: “It’s always an honor to be working with people who have established themselves within the company as mainstays, and you know, being high up in the barking order like a Rey Mysterio, like a Seth Rollins, people who have proven their mettle, and you’re being intermixed with them, you know. So as far as that happened, I can’t complain. There’s not much that I can complain about, to be honest. I feel that despite for some viewers, you know, the idea that Aleister Black himself has had like many different lights on him in the last year and a half, two years of being on the main roster.”

“I think my worth as being a valuable, reliable and interchangeable talent has been proven more than anything in the last two years.”
